It's completely sad we got to this point. We need more procedures to prevent toxic people from corrupting our system. Like even creating a department that monitors our countries politicians would be helpful. No politicians should be allowed to say whatever they want. I will never forget the Fridays in high school in the mid 90’s, during our study of the Civil War, when my beloved history teacher (and English teacher, and football coach and track coach), would sit us down and play an episode of Ken Burns ‘The Civil War’ documentary. I can still hear the haunting music and stories of American heroes and warriors. We must all remember them, and those of our forefathers who fought and died not just for our freedom and liberty, but for that of other nations’ people as well. No greater dishonor can be imposed upon those great men than for ignorance to allow anyone to vote for a fascist wannabe dictator and convict.

Would love to spend a day with him talking history. He is few yrs older and like myself as a kid absorbed the family encyclopedia. People, when I zoom into my web of life, closeup , it was my splicing of solved and unsolved crossword puzzles created by my experiences, revealing my few mistakes that when corrected, revealed more mistakes that when corrected, pointed to more. So I zoomed out and zoomed into my definition of wisdom and it had completely changed and it was no longer an unachievable stretch of abstracts. It revealed that "no one can truly show anyone else the way", is truly why we say "people don't change". Self improvement is a personal journey and if you think you're helping someone to change, how could they by looking at your puzzle? Two things to remember: Trump actually wrote in his book one should never admit defeat. Trump's first long time attorney Roy Cohn (an architect of the 1950's and '60s infamous McCarthism) once informed Donald Trump that if you repeat a lie long enough people will begin to believe it.

Ken can do no wrong with his docs but everyone here needs to watch The Roosevelts. It was an incredible profile of the family but also American politics in the early part of the 20th C. As always with his work, there’s a lot I didn’t know! And I was so fascinated with The Vietnam War that I have the blu-ray set - I watch the entire thing at least once a year just to learn more from it that I didn’t know and didn’t pick up the last time I watched it.
